Sunday Scenes and Scriptures..........

Matthew 6:28-34

"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Till next time..........GOD BLESS!

  1. Amen! I sure needed that reminder today. As I was struggling with jealousy issues I had to remind myself that God is the provider, it is not the outside that He is so concerned about, and these things are all temporary here. The eternal things are what I should be seeking. This post was the icing on the cake of God's gentle reminder for me today:)) Thanks for being a willing servant! His word never goes out void.

  2. The beauty of your photo of the spring flowers sure brings emphasis to the scriptures.

  3. just had to tell you that that chapter in Matthew has been really helpful to me lately!! It's easy to get down when I see my paycheck dwindle down so quickly that all I know I can trust in is God! Thank!
