Goat Carts and children in Central Park NY, NY
My good friend Rhonda sent me this lovely picture yesterday and asked if I'd like to include it in a blog post. I said but of course I would! I love this picture and would actually love to frame it. I'm not sure where she found it but it is just a wonderful photo. You can click on it to see the full size.
I'd love to see more people understand the wonderful animals that goats are! The Youngun and I plan to break a wether to a cart and then we will join the 4th of July parade here in our town. We are hoping for a nice wether to be born this year to get our project started. Goats are amazing animals, very much like dogs! They are smart and funny and sweet and loving and I can't say enough about them! Thanks Rhonda for sharing the photograph with me and allowing me to share it with my readers!
Till next time...........GOD BLESS FROM GOODWIFE FARM!
I told the Husband last nite that I wanted some goats...I just got the look..Lol
ReplyDeleteIt was the same with the chickens, and now he loves them as much as I do...It wont be overnite success, BUT I see some goats in the near future ; )
Yaaay! Everybody that has the space needs a goat! ;)
ReplyDeleteHiya, Goodwife!
ReplyDeleteThe picture came from the Library of Congress. I came across several old snazzy photos when doing a research project.
I sent a few to Sue Huston, so I believe that this one and a few others will be posted on the Kinder Goats Facebook page.
I've always wanted a couple of goats with hopes that they would eat this one purple weed we have taking over our yards and pastures... I also get the look! and the comment you don't want them crawling on your car! I think Lenny would love them!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog.. We raise Nubians and Lamanchas. We are going to be training to goats to carts eventually!
ReplyDeleteHiya goodwife! Check out Roadie and Faith on my website! Carting and packing with goats is a lot of fun! http://www.queenacresonline.com/WorkingGoats.html
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it once you get started, and you'll be surprised how quickly the goats learn.
my husband approves of getting some goats as long as we get some fainting goats. he thinks they are funny. I want goats for milk and maybe meat. he wants them for laughs!
