Welcome to the Goodwife's blog! Here I write about our lives and the journey God is taking us on. It's a wild and wonderful ride, full of happiness and the occasional heartbreak, but the one constant is our love for Jesus Christ and our faith that God has a plan for us! We strive to submit to His will for our lives in all ways. We try to be good stewards of the land and animals God has blessed us with.

Let's Take a Picture Walk 'Round My New Home............
I wish you a thankful heart, tomorrow and every day of the year!
I'm so sorry you've been having a rough go of it lately, but I'm so happy to see you back and posting. Someday you'll look back and say "I'm so glad it happened that way." Sucks when you're right in the middle of it, but sounds like the worst is probably over. And if you ever find yourself in a place that you can't have Champ, he can come here and I'll take care of him until you're in a place that you can. :)
Looks like a lovely lil' homesteadin' place! Kentucky sure is beautiful. I bet you had homegrown Thanksgiving ham! Makes my mouth water all over again. The neighbors raised 2 hogs (that their 3 yr old named Bacon and Eat Me, haha) and we're getting the meat off one in the spring. I can't wait!
Happy Thanksgiving!
