Now This is Exciting!!

Whoo hoo!  Somebody finally figured out that all girls who ride horses aren't slim and trim!  I LOVE the fact that these clothes are modeled by a real live bigger gal and that she looks beautiful and put together!  I'm a big gal who has struggled with her weight her whole life.  I don't like to look sloppy just because I'm heavy.  The lady modeling these clothes oozes class and I love it!

God Bless...............

  2. Sloppy only makes you look bigger! I like things to fit not bag and gap.. But most clothes for biggger women are from Omar the Tent maker and they look like a tent! Like its some how Hiding everything..lol..
I have also struggled with my weight all my life and will never be smaller than a 16-18.. Bigger than that now but that is usually the smallest I go and I am comfortable and Healthy that size.

  3. Thanks for commenting ladies! Jennifer, I totally agree.......I hate it when they have plus sized clothes being modeled by super thin models. I mean, how the heck am I supposed to see what it's going to look like on me if it's not being modeled on a big girl!

Tonia, you are exactly right. I like my clothes to fit, not skin tight, but fit!!

  4. The stick size models dont do anything but give me a complex...they make me feel overweight and according to my bmi I am normal....I like to see real women model clothing, not some size 00 thats probably starving, most normal ppl work so they can eat, and the ironic thing is, these skinny models DONT EAT so they can work...I wanna buy em a cheeseburger ; ) Lol

  5. Her site is funny! And yes, it is hard to find flattering clothes when you wear a larger size. My mom always complains that she doesn't want to look like a frump just because she's a large woman. And I agree about the models for plus size clothing, they are NOT plus size. It's ridiculous.

  7. well its about time! 100 years ago everyone was comfortable under those fancy riding habit skirts...and looked darn good wearing them...

Fshion stick modeling became popular when the clothing industry realized they can make clothes cheaper, their pockets fuller$$$ by telling people that tiny small sizes are whats in, but still charge big bucks for less amount of fabric - basically cheating people. Media can be used for good, or evil, and in this case has messed up generations of women's perceptions on whats healthy looking...
